I usually think Zhu Yilong doesn't understand how devastatingly sexy he is but sometimes I wonder.
SW and ZYL's wedding photographer catches them taking a short detour between the ceremony and the reception (fanart).
I keep finding charming headcanon tidbits like this to throw into Canadian Shack, but I'm uncertain of the ethics of doing so. Opinions appreciated.
If anyone hasn't seen this ... uh ... Zhu Yilong fashion spread yet, you should. Someone made a pants-dropping edit that goes with the Very Expensive Escort AU in everyone's heads.

Starting the dS fic today, but gotta watch a couple episodes first for context and details. This means I need to hook up the Blu-ray player bc mckitterick moved it up to his office a couple weeks ago. It's always something. PRAY FOR ME. 

Makes me sad, but I'm not participating in Weilan week. Enjoying everyone else's entries about it, tho! Would love to continue commenting on them, but the rest of this week is gonna be getting words on (digital) paper and finding a beta good lord I need a beta.

If it's a very specific bit of headcanon I'd include a note? I've seen other people do the "inspired by conversations on Twitter" that have sometimes included names and sometimes not.

Technically the #weilanweek2019 mods are accepting entries until December 22nd so~... If you wanted to after working hard on you edits you could still dive in? But time being limited, I feel you on making these choices! (I say, having already made a gifset for tomorrow as I'm away on a conference and not bringing my laptop.)

Nice! I would definitely include the source of inspiration (maybe in the chapter notes where it first appears?), so it's good to know there's precedent for this sort of thing.

For bits of headcanon, why not just ask? When you see one you like, like that one above, just reply directly to the tweet and say, "I love this idea! Would you mind if I included it in a fic?" I can't imagine that anyone would say 'no'...

If you know where you got a particular idea, saying so in an author's note can't hurt? But I don't think there's any problem with including it.

I think he knows, but to him it's kinda... Utilitarian? Like, it isn't a point of pride or something he'd exploit to flirt or anything, but he appreciates that it gets his acting more attention? He seems to really love his job, so.

But the funny thing about the lip-licking is that I think it's a genuine habit; I have the very same one, and my mother keeps telling me not to do it, but it always happens unconsciously, and I definitely don't intend anything by it. So I guess Zhu Yilong's marketers just know how to milk his fortunate/unfortunate habit for all its worth? *grin*

Also, did you see the rest of the thread that gave you the headcanon for Canadian Shack? *Cackles* (Sometimes, when I see stuff like that, I really wish I could bring myself to go back and finish the rest of the novel. But...I can't. Oh, well!)
