I've always wondered about the Fermi paradox. I mean, if seemed off to me, but who was I to disagree with a world-famous scientist? Good to see someone trying to logically explain my gut feeling!

Scientists aren't always right! Glad to know someone else plowed through that and got a good feeling out of it. I don't have an emotional response to being alone in the universe like I know a lot of people do, but as an intellectual exercise, I always thought most conversations about it were missing something. This was a great addition to the discussion.

Oddly, it's much slower writing than Guardian for me! I think maybe bc I'm not so deeply (DEEPLY) emotionally invested? IDK, it's an interesting intellectual observation (as I laughed through the opening section and am now rolling up my sleeves for smut).
