Thirty-five and counting

I think I'm one of the few people I know who doesn't think "Wow. I never thought I'd make it this long." I guess I always assumed I'd live to a ripe old age. It'll be a short run if I'm already halfway through.

Hm. 80 degrees, low humidity, and sunny? That'd be tough in Kansas. We didn't have power knocked out by an ice storm, though, so I'm not complaining too much.

It wouldn't be too surprising for that to happen in Kansas in the middle of winter. Record high for today is 87. (Okay, in 1966, but it could happen again. Someday. On your bday. Maybe.)
