Cough. Choke. Spasm.
Click here for a brand-spanking new definition of "woman." Exciting times, folks! Let's hear it for exciting times. Alas, the links that are supposed to lead to the actual bills for this legislation aren't working. If anyone finds anything, please post in comments. I've still got stuff left on my work plate from yesterday and not a lot of time for fiddling today. What is the world coming to?
Good news on the PT front. I was at a zero on the 10-scale for pain yesterday. Nothing! Very very cool. Today, a bit of a twinge, but that could be from the uber-workout they put me through, and then didn't do the electro-patch afterwards like usual. Things are certainly moving in a good direction there. I might be discharged (ew) next week. I have to say I'm looking forward to not shelling out $100/week for therapy. It certainly makes a gym membership look pretty damn cheap.
And, finally, I leave you with:
1683? Whose calendar are we using here?

My favorite part so far is where they quote the Humane Slaughter Act as well as the Animal Welfare Act to support their definitions. How enlightened of them.

Maybe what it means is that, after you discover the secret government time machine, you go back in time and set up the Magnificent Rowan Khanate. Long may she live!

Of course! What was I thinking?

Wouldn't it much more sense to counsel couples on the pain, trauma, suffering and possible permanent defects encountered by an infant upon birth? I think that if every young person had to watch the film we were forced to view in Health class of five different live births in close-up living color, it would be the best counter-attack on nonsense like this bill.
