24 hours and counting

This time tomorrow [livejournal.com profile] cedarsong and [livejournal.com profile] everflame will be picking me up to head out for first day at Faire. Woo! Gotta get some good sleep tonight.

Dancing went well yesterday! I had a fun time. Thanks to the bazillion people who came out. You all rock. It was wonderful to finally meet [livejournal.com profile] starwyse.

A non-LJ friend of mine sent me an email with some Out Of Office replies. I wish I could use a couple of these. I would if I knew they'd only go to people I knew and not to potential grad school applicants:
  • I am currently out at a job interview and will reply to you if I fail to get the position. Be prepared for my mood.
  • You are receiving this automatic notification because I am out of the office. If I was in, chances are you wouldn't have received anything at all.
  • I will be unable to delete all the unread, worthless e-mails you send me until I return from holiday on 4 September. Please be patient and your mail will be deleted in the order it was received.

  • I've run away to join a different circus.

    I shall finish the last bodice today during my lunch (it's just handwork stuff so I brought it with me to work). And then: Sewing for My Costumes is Done!

    And, um. That's it. Feeling much better mentally and emotionally today. That pleases me. Oh, and another new icon. This one, like the champagne bottle one, is from my NOLA trip. Full image here.

    It's ok about the picks. Anticipation makes it better in the end. ;) Oh, and as I was talking to my bro yesterday, the team got a page to stand down because of the shootings and assaults against rescue workers all tha federal and local rescue teams hae been told to stop, pull out and stand down.
