Typical
This is so ... overwhelmingly typical of my life.
My new electric kettle? My beautiful, gorgeous, red, near-feminine in its curvaceousness electric kettle? Triggers the fuse overload in my office. It was fine when one of my officemates was on vacation last week when it arrived, but now...not so much. I can't use it. At all.

Honestly, I'm using up most of the power since I'm the one with the microwave (I refuse to use the nasty communal one) and the scanner.
*sigh*

I ran an extension cord from an outlet on another part. Alternately, could you:
1) put two power strips by your desk and put high-draw things on each and only turn on one at a time?
2) Run an extension cord from someplace on another circuit?
3) Call facility services and ask them what to do?
This is unacceptable.

2. There is no other circuit.
3. Right. They're not going to re-wire Wescoe for my electric kettle.
Yes, yes it is.

Bah,

I hope we can figure out a way to make it work soon, for...
Re: Bah,
Whatevah.
I can use the communal hot water pot. It's not too nasty and will get me up and away from my desk at regular intervals.

We were so shocked (and busy stomping on the old ticket and calling parking services) that I forgot it YET AGAIN!
