Well I made it through almost 24 hours before having another emotional crash. Bleh. I'm feeling really, really down again. Boo.

Even though I have just as much Irish in me as I do Spanish, I never ever remember to wear green on March 17. Happy Excuse-To-Drink-Too-Much Day to those of you who are celebrating. You have no idea how much I wish I could join you.

I think the fives were in cahoots this week.

2. What genre of movie would you most like to star in? Comedy. Or Science Fiction. Or a mix. Something like Galaxy Quest would be a hoot.
3. What song would you insist be on the soundtrack? I don't know that actors get much say in that. But any movie soundtrack with me in it would probably be more along the lines of Henry Mancini's Pink Panther and less Hans Zimmer's Gladiator.
4. What would you wear to the premiere of your movie? Probably something I made.
5. Who would you thank in your Oscar acceptance speech? The Friday Five, for giving me the idea that this was even possible.

I don't know that there are any fictional characters out there that resemble me, personality-wise. But long ago I realized I was the cliched archetype of "pretty, no-nonsense girl, with sharp tongue and acid wit, who loves her cat, but can't keep a man." I mean come on. I'm a walking fill-in-the-blank character sheet. Just add water individual personality traits!
4. Which song describes you? I have no idea. You tell me.
5. Which animal is most like you? A badger. Outwardly cute, rather low to the ground, generally docile, but ferociously defends her family and territory.

I came to think of the process like waves of water. One wave washes up and over and away from you...but while it's there you're fucking wet, ya know?

The good thing is that the waves do, over time, come fewer and farther between as goblet gets drained.

May this wave pass from you quickly, and may the next moment of calm, quiet good be upon you before you know it.

Good cinema always helps when I feel like that. Or watching robots make fun of bad movies. Or squash (the one-person sport, not the vegetable). Man, I miss squash.

Incidentally, I'm on the last episode of Season 1 of Lost, which has been much better than I expected. Any interest in checking it out after kalinobeche?

Ha! Thanks for the warning. Thanks for the offer, too, but I got nothing to watch DVDs on.

roya_spirit loaned me her little combo TV/VCR thing so I can do some exercise tapes next week when Robinson is closed. But I can't imagine watching much else on it. I'm not a sit-and-be-entertained kind of girl.

I'm lining up some activities for myself for the weekend, and hopefully those will keep me from getting even more down.
