Green and blue
Walking up to campus this morning was such a visual treat! The green green green of the hill, with blue sky on one side and slighty gray clouds on the other. Such a gorgeous array of color.
I went in with some folks on a cheeptrims order last month and completely spaced ordering one of the items I need for my cabaret costume. *facepalm* Dammit! I had Renfest on the brain and didn't even thing about my summer dance show costume until this week. Cheeptrims has a $60 minimum order. Do I cough up the remaining $50 for other items that I don't really need? Or do I pay about half that to buy sequin trim at a regular store (and get only about 10 yards instead of 100)?
One of our faculty members was recently diagnosed with two inoperable brain tumors. Malignant. Yuck. The creepy thing is, he's the fifth professor with an office in Wescoe who has come down with brain cancer in a fairly short period of time. Apparently OSHA is filing a request for a study. I always thought Wescoe was an eyesore, but who knew it could actually be poison? Scary.
adammaker posted this yesterday, but I wanted to spread it around. scans of pulp novel covers.
secret_malady and
scary_manilow, this is posted with you all in mind, particularly.

At least you're having gut problems, and not brain problems...? Wow.

Further evidence that the building needs to be demolished, and something prettier, with windows that open, needs to be built!

One of the reasons that it's sliding, though, is that it's poorly engineered: too heavy for it's location on the hill.
And it's god-awful ugly.

I wonder if she worked in Wescoe before she came here.
That's absolutely frightening.
I might have some other info on the Candida thing, I'll check my vitamin/natural health books. It sounds worth a look. I have several of those symptoms myself.
