Cramp

Sometimes being a nubile young woman really isn't very much fun. I had a bad Girl Day yesterday and stayed home all day for some quality time with kitty, books, and Mr. Heating Pad.

Casino Royale (seen this weekend, prior to my uterus staging a rebellion) is astounding. I have zero complaints about the movie (a few quibbles regarding a costume choice, but nothing about the movie). To all the people who didn't even bother to see the movie before panning Daniel Craig: Choke on it. It's everything the novels are and the previous cartoon-style gadget-riddled movies weren't. Amazing. Awesome. Also, [livejournal.com profile] gmskarka, I take back my ambivalent feelings about the theme song. Hearing it when those opening credits (also fabulous) were rolling made a big difference. I kinda like it now.

And for a complete change of pace, I'll be going to see Happy Feet with my parents over Thanksgiving weekend.

Sorry you were icky yesterday. I didn't realize until about 4:40 that no question was up, so didn't worry about it. But I *did* worry about you. Saw your car this morning, so was hoping it wasn't serious.

I can't wait to see that movie again. Yum.

Thank you. I was pretty miserable. Fetish, however, was thrilled. I really did spend nearly the whole day in bed, reading. You know I'm miserable when I'm too achey even to sew.

I very nearly made a phone post from the theater parking lot after the movie. There are so few movies that I feel honor the books that inspired them. Casino Royale did that and then some. I told someone it was very nearly a spiritual experience. And I was only sorta joking.

My parents are going to take Pari to see that movie over the holidays, too.

Probably won't see you before, so have a wonderful Holiday!.

I really want to see Casino Royale in the theater.
Unfortunately, it's not being released in South Korea. FIE!

That sucks. =(

I saw it last night in Times Square! And wow... Craig might already have established himself as my favorite Bond.

To say I had zero complaints about the movie would be false - but I will say that it has taken its place as an instant Bond classic in my heart and I love how it has reinvigorated and reinvented the franchise (as it was very necessary).

Ditto

Another "ditto" on Bond. From the opening credit graphics to the end this movie was both stylish and action packed.
