I wonder how much more damage that idiot can do before he leaves office. There's still plenty of time to bring on the economic apocalypse.

I wonder if he'll add H5N1 to the water supply just to take attention away from his putting an end to Pax Americana.

Oh yes yes yes! He made it very clear last night that Iran was next. In fact, only two things in his speech last night were substantially different than his speech last October:

- He didn't dare say "We're winning!" this time
- He made it very clear that we are preparing for a military strike against Iran. Moving another carrier group into the region? Why? To go after the air forces of Iraq and the insurgents? Oh yeah... they don't have an air force. But Iran does.

Thanks for the link to his post.

I admit, I couldn't bring myself to listen to the speech last night. Who am I kidding? I haven't been able to listen to any of his speeches for well over a year. I might be able to stomach reading transcripts, but that voice, coupled with those words--a repulsive combination. I just can't do it.

Tomorrow Bush will be at that building with his "Mission Accomplished" banner for another photo-op.

Good god.

The reason Bush 1 didn't go to Baghdad is because his military advisers told him there was no way to occupy it, and no clear exit strategy. Too bad the son and his band of cronies were not smart enough to realize that the solution was not to disregard information that they didn't want to hear...
