Last night I went to KC to have dinner with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
rorschachsix and wore some pretty shoes. I hadn't worn them in a while and I forgot I need to wear insoles with them--they're just a wee bit to large and my feet slide around in them. So I rubbed a blister on the ball of my right foot. I kicked them off as soon as I got home, and if you know me at all, you should have a good idea where this is going by now. When I got up in the middle of the night to pee, I stepped right on one of the damn things (because I'm a moron and left them in the middle of the floor instead of putting them away) and my foot shot out from under me. I fell in a sort of half-splits thing, wrenched my right hip joint, and probably did not a little damage to my right butt cheek. I don't think I did my right ankle any favors, either.
I can't sit correctly since it hurts to put weight on my right buttock and my left hip is starting to ache from so much pressure being on it. My right ribs are starting to ache from leaning over at a weird angle. The whole thing is ridiculous.
Now that I've made sure there are no work emergencies waiting in my email in box, I am going home. Supine is the only position that's even vaguely comfortable right now. I can't wait to get around in the snow and ice like this tomorrow. That's gonna be great.
