When the red red robin comes bob bob bobbin'
This morning I woke up well before the alarm (again). I stayed in bed for a little while, enjoying the quiet. Then I heard a bird chirping. I hadn't heard the birds the morning
indigodreamer heard them and thought of me, but I heard one this morning. It was a beautiful sound.
St. Pat's Parade bodice: Done.
cedarsong says I'm a machine. I think I've just made myself so many from this pattern, I can pretty much do it in my sleep. Same thing for when I used to make shirts for
0verdrive. From cutting board to buttonholes in three hours. I can now make a bodice for myself in five hours. Cool. Of course, that means it's time to move on to making corsets--something I could wear out clubbing or someplace other than faire.
Here is a newspaper article about my daddy. My favorite quote: "Honesty gives us a thing called inner peace," he said. "Inner peace gives us a thing called confidence. And the more confident we are, the more creative we are." My second favorite is the bit in the very last part of the article. Enjoy.
I don't know if it's the weather, the Spring energy, or what, but my body is jittery and nervous today. Like I have stage fright--the low-level butterflies that live in my stomach the day of a performance. Not (thankfully) the gut-wrenching terror I get before I go on stage. Let's hope it doesn't come to that. For now, it's a quiet expectedness that verges-on-but-isn't-quite discomfort.
Spring?

Good reporting here.
The more we know, the better choices we can make.

Wow, I took care of that with Fetish as soon as I possibly could. From all the horror stories I'd heard from friends, I didn't want anything to do with that nightmare. My condolences! Have a fun weekend! =D

Maybe Maybe's new-found voice will help her develop her meow.
