Unmotivated
I told myself yesterday that if work was slow, I would write my thank-you cards. The office was, honestly, pretty hoppin' yesterday, so I didn't get to them. Now, today, things are dead and this pile of blank cards is really bringing on the guilt.
So far, IF is going well. I'm still a little tired on my fast days, but I think that will pass when my body adjusts. I need to get more active. More weights--or working with my own body weight. I think I'm getting an acceptable (acceptable if not good) amount of cardiovascular activity, but what with the osteoporosis in my family, I must get back on the resistance training, and soon. I found this little gem last week and I think I might add it to my mix of bodyweight/yoga/pilates/DVDs. And then, you know, do the exercises. Performing exercise instead of just thinking about it really helps with the weight loss and strength building. Or so I've heard.
I've started another hat. This one is green, left over from my soon-to-be-felted slippers. Felting happens tonight, thanks to
bestill's assistance. Very much looking forward to that. If I felt this this evening, they'll be dry in plenty of time to wear them during the weekend. Oh, blissful warm fuzzy feet.
My LJ has been really boring lately. Sorry 'bout that.
UPDATE: Ha ha ha. I got ready to write some thank-you notes...and discovered I left my planner (the one with the notes about who gave me what) at home. Typical. I don't remember removing it from my bag yesterday. WTF?
