Vertigo
I feel terrible.
I tried to get into a yoga posture last night (an alternative supported style of shoulder stand) and kept slipping off my bolster. This kept making my head fall backwards, which always makes me dizzy, and I wound up feeling pretty sick by the end of the session. It was a scary drive home, but I made it ok. I went to the grocery store to get some cookies (horrible, I know, but for some reason starchy sweets usually ease my motion sickness). Cookies tasted great but did zip for the vertigo. And this morning, it has abated somewhat but I'm still supersensitive and dizzy.
I almost threw up my morning coffee on the leopard print couch. Bad. Very bad.
So it's been a couple hours since that and while I'm not feeling too comfortable with the idea of eating solid food, I hope I'm ok with tea. Because this new tea I purchased last night (with the cookies) is absolutely stellar. Bigelow Cherry Almond. They have a whole new line out, apparently. I didn't see the Vanilla Hazelnut or Cherry Vanilla at the store last night but believe me I'll be stocking up on these.
Now back to remembering to not look up when someone comes through the office door. This is also an exercise in true touch typing since I can't look down at my hands.
Too bad I'm saving up my sick time (and today's the last day of enrollment so I really need to be here just in case) or I'd head home. It's a glorious day to stay home. Rainy and dreary with occasional rumbles of thunder.
Barf.
