Goodwill towards all

Or in in this case, not. Sending towels and blankets to Texas? What the hell is that. Don't shop at Goodwill, people. They're morons. Evil morons.

I haven't been talking about it much here, but complications with Intermittent Fasting led me to the decision to stop the every-other-day fasting experiment. It worked wonders for [livejournal.com profile] adammaker, but as you all should know, every body is different and that frequency of fasting was not working for me. I still like the idea of occasional fasting, however, so I will continue to observe a fast day once a week: Mondays. I'm most likely to overindulge on the weekend, so Monday is a good day for me to let my body recover from that. I will continue my usual ongoing efforts to eat healthfully (except on Mondays) and exercise often (every day at least once).

It was ridiculously difficult for me to get moving this morning. I delayed getting out of bed for a good fifteen minutes, and even though I cut my calisthenics a wee bit short (I only did two of three sets of push-ups and neglected my calf raises entirely) I was still five minutes late for work. Movin' slow!

I've been fasting four days a week, Monday through Thursday, mostly because I was tired of packing a lunch all the time.

=D

I hope it works for you! I know [livejournal.com profile] radcliffe has had phenomenal success with Fast-5 (I assume if you're skipping lunches you're doing something similar to her). Good luck! Are you still doing the library stairs?

Yeah, I eat when I'm at home in the evenings and climb stairs during breaks, and any time I have to go out into the stacks. It's slow, but I think I'm actually a bit smaller now - plus I don't pant quite so heavily when I have to walk up the hill!

Excellent!!!

I've been measuring my progress in "how fast can I get up this hill?" as well. So far so good.
