I'm trying to decide if I'll have the energy/inclination to go.

If it wasn't so damn cold, it would be a much easier decision. But I'm concerned about heading to Red Lyon hot & sweaty from Shiva, and standing around in a bar and then going outside again. Hrm.

Yeah, actually there seem to be lots of strange Irish drinking dates this year. Evidently, St. Patrick's Day falls on one of the Catholic "deny yourself" days, which is an interesting and ironic conflict of interests.

I think so. If I recall, some radio DJ was discussing this as I drove somewhere, but don't quote me on it.
