In the interest of my fellow car-poolers, I've decided to pare down Azucena for JRF. In fact, I don't think I'm bringing Azucena at all. I'm just bringing some of her clothes. It's ridiculous to schlep wigs all the way there (even though the weather is cool enough that I could wear the giant curly one that I've never worn at KCRF due to crazy hot temps or rain). The wig boxes are enormous and while I could let the wigs lie flat, I'd be fretting the whole way about if they were getting crushed. I think it will be easier all around to just go for a more gypsy look since all I'm going to be doing is serving at Smoker. I don't have to worry about sort of persona. So I'm going to wear my plain braids that I have for bellydance, and a headscarf. I might as well throw some scarves on my hips/waist, too. Nixing the manacles. I always take them off for KCRF Smoker, so there's no point in dragging them all the way to Joplin. It'll be really nice to do minimal makeup, too. Ahhh. Suddenly, packing for JRF just got a lot easier.

Finished nottygypsy's chemise and bloomers last night, so all I have to do this evening is pack for myself. Fantastic! Oh, and buy sunscreen.

I can so understand the wish to simplify for travel's sake.

One of the reasons I'm up in the air at this point regarding going to GARF for the Memorial Day weekend is that my options for getting the Madam's crap down there have altered significantly.

Yup. There will be four of us going from Lawrence in one car. It'll be great to save on gas money, but it's gonna be packed.

This is completely unrelated to your post, and maybe I'm behind the times and just realized this . . . but I "just" realized that there are a list of little icons to the right of your user icon on your post, and the last one is to flag the entry. So we get to play big brother with each other? I vaguely remember someone mentioning something like this before, but this is the first I remember seeing the button to do it.
