Thanks for making my old copy obsolete, you greedy hacks

Killjoy Cooking With the Dungeons & Dragons Crowd

Wanted to share that.

Now back to trying to figure out workarounds for everything that's still not working on my computer. It's completely fucked up. Haven't heard a peep from the LAN support guy yet, but at least NTS resolved my network port problem.

I'm so glad I called in the minor issue I was having with Excel and Outlook 2002. Now nothing works the way it's supposed to. What an improvement.

Yay.

I'm having a little issue with one of my computers and am putting off placing that call....cuz, in the end, is it worth it?

It certainly wasn't for me. I've wasted a day and a half on this. Bah!

WOAH! Funny! I'd love to watch the Gaming network

OMG, he picked out every annoying personality in any online community dedicated to the love of one topic. There are people like that even in programming communites.

The last three are the funniest of all--probably because those three types annoy the shit out of me the most.

They exist in bellydance communities also. *heh.

INFINITE OREGANO!

Very nice. I need to point to this when people ask me why I don't read gameblogs.

The fact that each one of those personalities is occasionally seated at a gaming session in which I am involved is just hysterical. A couple of them are so hardcore that they mayhap would fail to enjoy the hilarity
of the article. My card-carrying-geek of a husband laughed out loud. Good luck with your computer issues. I abhor dealing with online techs. I am sure that there are good ones out there, I just have never been able to get them.

Oh, this wasn't online or even on the phone. It was in my office so I had to smile and pretend like I didn't want to rip his lungs out.

That was hilarious, thank you.

Speaking of greedy hacks - D&D 4.0?! WTF. Evidently, it's coming out now. However, I'll be sticking with my obsolete copy, as I have a pretty complete collection. (And I think they look nicer, anyway.)
