Swamped.

Two charming things to blog about, but no time.

Campbell Conference is eating me.

Nasty-ass allergy issues. Astelin is becoming increasingly less effective and I sneezed all the way up the hill to work today. I'm so stuffy that I have a hard time getting enough air by breathing through my nose and I've caught myself breathing through my mouth a few times. Gross. Allergies are also putting a damper on my exercise. This morning I thought I was going to either fall down or throw up from the vertigo brought on by doing two ab crunches on the balance ball. And because of sinus pressure, I couldn't look down to do push-ups.

I see Mikell Adams on Monday to begin her alternative allergy treatments.

I'm sorry about the allergy issues -- and I know.

I recently re-tried Zyrtec, which I swear didn't work for me at all two years ago, because Claritin/Alavert, my usual go-to medicine, was doing absolutely nothing for my misery. (Absolutely nothing.) To my surprise, it's working surprisingly well. So maybe it's worth trying that (or something else you haven't tried in a while)? Allergens and bodies are so unreliable.

I already worked through Zytec a couple years ago. At this point, I've tried every available prescription (and non-prescription) allergy medicine currently available.

Hence the chiropracty. We'll see how it goes. I think she's pretty honest with a patient if the therapy isn't working.
