General frustration to start the weekend

Just when I thought I had my frivolous spending under control, I find out that Easton Press is issuing Andrew Lang's Fairy Books as a twelve-volume set. Photos aren't available on the website (yet), but the mailer info says the leather books will be dyed to match the original colored covers. Can I/Should I spend $60 a month for a year on this? No. But will I regret it if I don't get them? Yes. Is the stress of having less money worse than the regret? Not sure.

*Ponders*

Last night I was working on the cool-weather coat for faire (since the one I wear as a whore simply won't work, aesthetically, for belly dance style) and I ran out of red thread. ... Did I mention I'm sans vehicle at the moment?

Yeah.

Grrr.

As soon as I finish this cup of coffee, I suppose I'll get to work pulling together that fourth costume that I said I wasn't going to start. Because I have threads of lots of other colors and I might as well be busy sewing something.

UPDATE: Yay!!! [livejournal.com profile] cedarsong just said she'd take me shopping. Isn't she the best?

I would take you shopping if I was there, and I don't even like shopping!

Aw. *squish*!

Luckily, [livejournal.com profile] cedarsong and I have similar costuming needs right now, so this particular excursion will be beneficial to both parties.

BTW, I never thanked you for the tip on the egg protein powder instead of whey. OMG so much better!!!

Oooh the Andrew Lang! I have replaced the ones I had and collected a few others. I would LOVE to get my hands on the collectors editions of those!!!

Well, just clicky-click on the link. I'm sure Easton Press would be thrilled to take your order. =D

buy them. take the hit, give up starbucks for a month, or do whatever it takes. you are already regretting thinking about not buying them.

I like the way you think.
