I don't have any pretty words right now. I'm not in the right mental space to write a memory. I'm not sure why this is hitting me so hard.

EDIT: For those who don't read any other journals by people associated with KCRF, Jim Gasser, our lead barbarian, was killed in a weather-related car accident yesterday. If you would like to read a lovely memorial, please see nottygypsy's LJ entry, here.

I have had many people die in the last few months, this is the first one i have cried about. Jim was a good neighbor to our booth. Always good to people. I don't think i ever seen the man not be happy. Even when he was worn out from the day. Full of energy, and ready to do some thing new. He was a part of ren fair, and ren fair was a part of him. The man touched a lot of peoples lives. i hope to see a shrine to Jim out at fair.

i'm willing to do some thing. i just know that there has to be some thing done. He was to good of a man to not be rememeberd... we will talk at conquest for sure...
