This is about the sexiest thing evar. I could watch this loop for days and never get bored.

I've already found the #1 Most Wanted Item for my Xmas Wish List this year. Glass food storage containers with locking lids. My old food storage lids are just over five years old, and starting to split and tear. The bowls are all in great shape, but the lids...well, they're plastic. Plastic doesn't age so great. I'm super excited about these snap-close lids. I saw them first at CostCo, but I'm hoping The Bay Leaf will have them, or at least be able to order them.

And now, to tie those two things together (vaguely), I am tossing the laziness and bad eating habits. I'm tired of being a self-indulgent slug. It was great fun while it lasted, but I'm done now, thanks! Back on the bandwagon. *ups-a-daisy!*

Here's to good food and a shapely figure.

One of the people in my dinner co-op (best idea EVER) has those containers, so we see/use them every once in a while. I don't know how old they are, but they seem fantastic.

Yay! I'm happy to get a recommendation from a third party. Thank you!

Just to be clear, though, I don't know how old they are. So, I don't know if the bendy bits start to give out with age.

I'm sure they do give out eventually. But I don't imagine they give out any sooner than the plastic lids that rely on stretching to seal.

I may need to put that on my tombstone...

Well, here's hoping that the efforts keep us from needing a tombstone anytime soon.

I mean, like, no shit, right? ::stumbles along behind bandwagon with hand outstretched hoping you'll yank her up there::

C'mon up, hon!

Wanna share food and activity diaries?

Or Weavers!! I so love pimping Weavers. They were so nice to me when my order went awry last year.

[identity profile] clevermanka.livejournal.com 2009-07-22 06:36 pm (UTC)(link)
I didn't realize they had a home/kitchen department. Huh! Wow...what floor is it on?

[identity profile] redheadfae.livejournal.com 2009-07-22 07:45 pm (UTC)(link)
In the basement.
Really nice, too, and they will special order stuff for you.

[identity profile] redheadfae.livejournal.com 2009-07-22 08:04 pm (UTC)(link)
You's welcome.
Okay, those thingies are on cooking.com (http://www.cooking.com/products/shprodli.asp?Keywords=Glass+Lock+food+storage), so I'm positive Weavers can order if they don't have them. They have an affiliation from their website to that one.

That's neat. What's it from? Watchmen? I think it's her open hand that makes it so ~ooh~.

[identity profile] clevermanka.livejournal.com 2009-07-23 02:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Yep. It's from the opening credits of Watchmen.

I think it's the fact that she's smokin' hot that makes it so ~ooh~, but yeah, that graceful hand gesture doesn't hurt.
