So this is excellent. And typical.
Last night I came home from work particularly tired--like I was having serious allergy issues. I felt like I had a slight fever, which is rare. My nose had been running all day, making me cough and upsetting my stomach. I whined at
mckitterick as I laid down for a nap about how crappy I was feeling and he popped up with, "Oh, well M (who spent a fair amount of time at our house on Tuesday, including eating dinner with us) has swine flu. He just found out today."
Seriously?
Seriously.
I'm supposed to go to a birthday party tonight in KC. I'm the designated driver. I've already canceled one date with this friend. And I might have swine flu.
Awesome.
I feel so awful canceling on Jason (again). But how much worse will I feel if I give him and the entire birthday party a case of H1N1?

And I'm being very careful to never touch my face.
It's a pretty interesting exercise, really.

I like the Brit version (http://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/Pandemic-flu/Pages/QA.aspx#whatis)of the Q & A.
sleep in the spare room, LOL
and this:
Should I have a swine flu party or try to catch swine flu now, so I will be immune to more serious strains that may emerge later?
A Swine Flu Party! What a greeat idea, those silly Brits.

Oh, not nearly that high. My normal temperature is usually only around 97 or a bit above.

It's THE FLU. That's all it is. Not pleasant, but the prognosis is good.
Feel better soon!
