The lowercase letter a is backwards in the words "Renaissance" and "Festival" on the blue banner.

What. The. Hell.

And how did I never notice this before? Guess that shows how much attention I pay at opening gate. Um. Whoops.

Okay, so maybe they didn't use the banner. Or had a new one made. Does anyone remember? That photo was probably snapped at Site Day 2008.

One thing for sure, I am definitely checking for that tomorrow morning.

I noticed that in the earlier picture. The first time I looked at it I thought the R and the F were backwards, and I did a double take. My brain was registering backwards letters but not being specific about which ones.

That sign, in all it's backward-a glory is still there. I stared at it (the actual sign) last weekend and just couldn't bring myself to believe that there's an Middle English font that has a's which are foozled like that.

I didn't even look at the banner, and was looking at the people--it looks like a girl on the upper left, next to the end, is smoking. But she probably just has her hand up to her mouth.

And yeah, did they get a new banner made, or has it been like that for awhile? Hmmm.
