I am just about completely ready for KCRF to be over. Done. So done. I am tired, cranky, sore, and desperately in need of a weekend alone. It's not you, it's me, oh festival. Um. Wait. No, on second thought, it's totally, totally you.

My lower back has been killing me lately and that's new. We need a new mattress, but my savings account hasn't yet recovered from a recent vehicle purchase. I'm also spending silly amounts of tip money from Smoker on just...*flaps hands*...stuff. Like hats for mckitterick and me from Pyrate Trading Co. and some totally unnecessary eyeshadows. In, er...both palettes. *cough*

Sunday Morning Photo-Op at the Fountain with Whores was busy-busy. My favorite WTF moment was the older man who came up to pose with the whores wearing a hat that said: F.R.O.G. and underneath that in small script, Fully Reliant On God. I was curious if he was going to use this as next Sunday School's lesson on what not to do on your Sunday morning or if he was somehow trying to convert the fallen. It was weird.

And speaking of photos, check out this photo that shrijani took of me a couple weekends ago. I have never seen the side view of that headpiece and OMG it looks freaking awesome. Yay! Thank you, Shri, for that faboo photo!

Hm. Nope. The hats I ordered aren't even pirate hats (http://chernobylred.livejournal.com/577796.html?thread=5779460#t5779460). It's just that Pyrate Trading Co., a local company who sells at the Kansas City Ren Fest, happens to make custom hats.
