Hey, question: How would I go about copying songs from a CD to a CD without converting them to MP3 in the process? I want to make a mix CD where the songs haven't lost any of the quality from the original CD. Possible? Do I need special software?

Audacity's going to be overkill unless you need to blend tracks, create transitions, etc. See below.

I downloaded it because it does look pretty nifty, but I'm only on page three of the manual and whoa, yeah. That's a lot of stuff! Gonna try the easy Media Player route you suggested first.

I had gotten it for doing mixing for short gigs, and I'd heard it's awesome for that, but I hadn't even used it yet.
