Totally agree with this. The body just does not want to go on with business as usual in winter. We should all just load up on berries and fat and sleep all winter. Not even joking. :)
That looks like me this morning going out to my car. When I saw ZERO on my weather app this morning, I didn't know what to think...but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be!
I was going to post that it was 37 here this morning when I read your post but then I saw the projected high for the day was 63, so it didn't seem kind. :) Huge desert temperature swings for the win!
We're up to 24F right now. That's almost the same amount of swing (numbers-wise) as you're getting. You've got a twenty-six degree change and we're sitting at a twenty-four degree difference. But really, once it's below 30 degrees, it doesn't matter. It's just fucking cold.
Wow. We were exactly the same kind of pissed off this morning. I went outside to get the mail, thought two coats would work, and about 2 seconds later, completely regretted my decision not to wrap myself in a comforter :(
