There is so much snow out there I can barely see the tops of the solar lights on the front lawn. One is nearly covered to the top.
And did I mention I've come down with a very nasty cold? The kind where you feel like your head is going to fall off from the sheer weight of it, and you can't sleep because you can't breathe through your nose, and breathing through your mouth makes your throat hurt even more. Boo, hiss.
But happiness:
mckitterick bought me the box set of Farscape, which he suggested I unwrap last night. We watched a few episodes before I collapsed from exhaustion.
I'm doubtful that our plans to go see the Sherlock Holmes movie and hang out with friends tonight will pan out. Right now I don't see any way possible to get out of our alley.
Update:
mckitterick is my hero. He shoveled the sidewalk! I'm going to cook or bake him anything he wants today...provided we have the supplies for it in the house. The cranberry upside down breakfast cake just came out of the oven, the bacon is about halfway done baking, and I'm going to suggest fried eggs over corn muffins, smothered with cheese. And mimosas. Yay for a stockpile of champagne!

I'm also glad we're home and it's over.
Maybe a fire and some movies now.

Oh, poor baby! I'm so sorry for the cold.
Maybe this (http://www.whatkatiedid.com/fes_php/fes_usr_sto_product_display.php?fes_action=DisplayProduct&fes_prd_id=464&fes_uid=fes_4b33917db1a6c) will help?
Comments here (http://community.livejournal.com/thirty_twod/272193.html) still recommend the Bali Flower :) Luvverly!
and oooh, those foodie things.. yummy! I'm digging on the three bottles of vino and champers my folks sent me home with for Xmas. No need to go anywhere really.

Your baking sounds great!
And yeah for McKitterick--I hope this shoveling didn't bother his shoulder. I'm still sore form all of the shoveling I did at various times. I think the worst was on Xmas day when I shoveled for 2 hours straight . . .

The snow plow pushed all of the snow blocking everyone on my side of the street in. I guess they thought the dead people in the cemetery might need out . . .
