I'm feeling all around under- and over-whelmed

I think this might not be simply a matter of something I ate (although I do take responsibility for poor eating choices this weekend). This morning I woke up sweaty and full of body aches. I exercised anyway, and felt okay afterward. But now it's an hour into the workday here and my eyes burn, my head hurts, and my coffee tastes terrible.

Allergies? Weird virus? Whatever it is, I'm not a fan.

My planner tells me that I don't have a free weekend until mid-May, and my weeknights are filling up, too. I've only got a few months before I start prepping for KCRF.

How's that shake you up?

Ugh.

I'm still searching for movement motivation. I want to build the mirror frame for my sewing room. Who is handy with power tools and putting things together? [livejournal.com profile] mckitterick is swamped and doesn't have time right now. Hey, [livejournal.com profile] adammaker, you planning a KC trip in the next week or two?

I'm having allergy issues, and have the sweaty sleep, itchy eyes and throat too. Ick.

RF coming at you soon. Yickes!

What kind of frame are you doing? Is it going directly on the wall? Does it have to be wood? Jbird got me mirror frame-thingies that attach to the wall and hold the mirror from the bottom. The same sort of commercial stuff they used at the Unions. But it only works if you're going directly into the walls.

Alas, I have no wall. You've been in my sewing room. What are you thinking? LOL!

I'm going to put the mirror in a reinforced frame and attach it to a hinge to the giant shelving unit on that north wall of the room. It'll have casters on the bottom so it can roll open and closed, like a door. Awkward, but the only way possible to get a big mirror in there.

I knew you'd done some rearranging so I wasn't sure *how* things had been rearranged, lol.
Yep, my idea won't work at all.
But somehow my crazy brain saw it as the shelf unit being turned around with the mirror on the backside of it.

By "I am going to do some rearranging" I meant "I am going to move this giant stack of fabric to the area under the cutting table."

HA HA HA HA!

:D
I had a whole 'nother picture in my head!

Yeah, I'm feeling all wonky in the head and pressure on my face. So I think it's allergies/sinus stuff. This morning when I was walking Ruby in the cemetery I saw what looked like smoke coming out of a tree. I went to it to see if somehow it was on fire and I would need to tell the cemetery people. But there was nothing there. At first I thought "wow, freaky spirit", and then I realized that maybe it was a big pollen cloud coming from the tree . . .

Ho-leee sheeeiit.

No wonder I feel like so much ass.

[identity profile] bestill.livejournal.com 2010-03-30 04:12 pm (UTC)(link)
yeah. I feel like I should take some sinus stuff because the pressure on my face is getting worse and worse. I felt it this weekend too, but thought it had to do with just not getting enough sleep.

I think I'd better make an NMT appointment with Dr. Adams before this shit gets much worse. UGH.

Me too on the allergy thing. My sinus-es were so messed up my gums hurt when I went to blow my nose. That's gotten better but the sinus headache has been here what, 4 yes 4 days now.

Okay, well then. Allergies it is.

SUXXOR.

Euww.. lookit the tree pollen (http://www.weather.com/maps/activity/allergies/ustreepollen_large.html?clip=undefined&region=undefined&collection=localwxforecast&presname=undefined) map. That's gotta be it.

[identity profile] clevermanka.livejournal.com 2010-03-30 04:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Wow. At least we're not in southern Nevada. They even havetrees there?

[identity profile] redheadfae.livejournal.com 2010-03-30 05:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Yah, kind of like LA.. the suburbanite development has turned the desert into a watersucking golf green, complete with non-native trees and pollens.

So much that area being great for allergy-sufferers, eh?

complete with non-native trees and pollens.

Nice.

Your symptoms sound like my symptoms right before I had that weird 24hr 101.5 fever in January (?).
Take it easy.

Oh, great. *sigh*

Thanks for the warning.

Getting over a funk is hard. I saw this tonight in a forum I go to. I thought I know someone who can do this. Hope the funk goes away soon.
