It went by quickly
Since I didn't have to go to work today (hurray for things at the dorms going okay this weekend), I got to go to morning yoga at Gopi's. Morning yoga is wonderful. I miss Saturday morning yoga a lot. I lingered out there for a little while, hoping to catch a glimpse of the baby peacocks, but Gopi was tied up talking with another student after class. Maybe next week. Instead I spent fifteen or twenty mintes loving on a black kitten with the most amazing brown eyes. He is so sweet and affectionate. He let me hold him and kiss his head, baby-style like Fetish used to do, and when I put him down he continued to strop against my legs. Then he looked up at me and mewed to be picked up again. He's at that age where he's all legs and tail and should be running around and squirming to play, but he's such a lover! It was hard to leave.
I stopped by Michael's on my way back into town to get a couple cheap brushes for gesso and glue since I used the heck out of mine Saturday and Sunday. By the time I got home, I barely had time to make and drink some coffee and eat lunch before I had to leave for acupuncture.
When I got home, I made myself a salad with the last of the romaine and grape tomatoes. I put a whole bunch of saved-up bones and some garlic cloves to simmer in a big stock pot until bedtime. Which doesn't seem very far away. It's a couple minutes after four now and it's raining again and although I've gotten a lot of good stuff done today, I am sad that the day is nearly over.
