Petty problems
My thighs and butt (more accurately: my quads, gluteus medius, and adductors) are so incredibly sore. Wow. I don't remember the last time I had DOMS this bad. Good workout, Trainer Chris D! Thank god for yoga tonight.
I am unhappy with my new nail polish color. China Glaze "Flying Dragon (Neon)" comes out streaky and thin-yet-gloppy. The glitter in it hardly shows at all. Three coats and it still doesn't look even. Also, it's a matte finish which it totally does not say on the label. I am going to ask Beauty Brands if I can return it. I am never going to wear this color again. I'm not even bothering to put on a top coat because it's coming off tonight as soon as I can get to a bottle of polish remover.
Because I am still not losing fat, and because I think it will help me get over my issues with food, I'm going to do the Whole 30 Program from the Whole9 folks. Anyone wanna embark on this craziness with me? No booze for thirty days! eek But I can do it! The only part I'm sad about is I won't drink with my girls before the Lady Gaga concert. But that's a small inconvenience in the grand scheme of being kick-assingly fit.

Last night I went to bed with an upset stomach (nausea, not cramping). I thought it was something I ate, but now I'm having some lower G.I. discomfort and bloating post-coffee. Hm. This isn't good. I need to make it to yoga tonight (see first paragraph of entry)! Stupid digestive tract better not sabotage my evening plans.

As for the Whole30 thing, the only item in that plan, which I just read, that I was not about to start doing effective tonight, is abstain from boozahol. However, I bought a George (Foreman Grill, but I just want to call it my George, because I think I'm funny), and went to the grocery store for greens, leeks, meats, eggplants, lemons and other suitable items, including plastic ware for my lunches. Coincidence, or something more?
When are you starting it? Because I think I not only can but deeply desire to not consume alcohol for thirty days. The rest is cake. Or rather, expressly not cake. You know what I mean. ;D

I'm starting August 1. However, if you choose to start after the concert, I certainly won't think less of you. =D
I figure, if I can't cut out booze for thirty days, there is a problem, there.
I have great George Envy. Perhaps I'll schedule a trip to KC to retrieve my long-promised grill this week.
