Great day to be pissed off! One of the reasons the teaching profession is so dissed, it has been said, is that it is female-dominated.

Just out of curiosity, I went through all my grade school teachers. I lived all over Canada, and attended a lot of schools. FWIW, the final tally is 12 female teachers and 16 male teachers.

Pretty much every school I went to was roughly 50:50 for male to female teachers. I think all the principles were men, though.

Not so in the US of A. About 75% of our teachers are female and about 25% of principals.
