Sloughing brain cells every day
1. Rob and Kelly made their Kickstarter goal! The Galactic Jungle is on! Congratulations, guys!
2. I have lost my planner. This is seriously uncool.
3. My estimation of my water consumption was woefully inadequate. I ran out of the filtered water I brought to work at 12:30. I'm not sure my shoulders can take hauling up two 57-oz bottles of water every morning, though. Just the one about killed me (along with my two meals, and everything else in the backpack--and that was without my planner!). Not sure how to work around this.
4. I'm still waking up at 6:00 or just a little before. This is very exciting and encouraging. My energy levels still swoop up and down during the day, but I don't feel that crushing exhaustion very often. I was really tired for a lot of the weekend, but it wasn't debilitating.
5. And speaking of my weekend, overall it was pretty fantastic except for all the tired on Sunday. Because I couldn't be bothered to do anything other than touch up my roots and nap, I've gotta do a bit of housecleaning tonight and tomorrow. And laundry. Meh.
6. Ah! I almost forgot to post about this (talk about sloughing brain cells). Keshavacharya Das is bringing his new band to Lawrence for some Hare Krishna good time chanting. I know, I know. More hippie music stuff. But Keshavacharya is really really good. And he hands out cards with the words so you don't have to know the songs. =) It's at Westside Yoga (4935 Research Park Way) at 7:00pm tomorrow, May 10. $10.

though it might just be worth finding out if the alternative is carrying a ton of water about... you could get a filter jug at work and just stand the water in the fridge. assuming there is a fridge... i have certainly noticed a difference in taste with water that i have let stand here, but who knows what crap is in our water apart from the fluoride. and the limescale that makes everything it touches look like it came up from the titanic.

Except.. according to our pond gal, our water supply uses chloramines, (worse than chlorine alone (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chloramine)) AND they don't dissipate, even over 90 days of standing. Eeek.
Damn, CR, you drink a LOT of water. I'd be floating away :)

Chlorine evaporates, fluoride doesn't, so you're right to carry your water. How about a rolling backpack?
