Shoulda shoulda shoulda

I really should clean the house this weekend. The bathrooms need scrubbing. Desperately need scrubbing. There is not a three-foot square of space on the floor that does not have a piece of my hair on it (ew, I know. long black hair + white ceramic floors = problematic), the stove is just gross because I've been doing all stove-top cooking instead of turning on the oven due to the heat. The whole house is just ugh.

Unfortunately, I myself am also rather ugh and feeling spectacularly unmotivated to get off the couch and disconnect myself from this heating pad.

I did make an amazing chicken thing for lunch, which I shall detail under a separate post. Of course, that just added to the spatters in the kitchen. Nngnggggng.

Although I managed to go back to sleep after my normal 5:30 wake-up time this morning (two extra hours, even! woo!), I'm going to lie down for a nap soon. I'm attempting to muster the energy to make it to the Spook Lights show tonight at Replay. If you can't make this show (I might not even make this show), be sure to make it to their Bottleneck show on July 22 where they're playing with The Late Night Callers. So Excited For That Show, You Guys!!!!!

I need to do this as well with inbound company but the knowing of needing and the desire to do are not the same.
