OH MY LIFE

And then after lunch, I got struck with a nasty case of vertigo, and I can't even navigate around the house without wobbling and feeling nauseated. [livejournal.com profile] mckitterick posits a major shift in the barometric pressure is the cause. In addition to the dizziness, my face hurts like whoa, and when I lean forward, my teeth ache.

Sinus Inflammation For The Lose.

Guess I know what we're gonna be working on at my next acupuncture appointment. Thank god it's tomorrow.

About what time did that happen? I started to feel really funny about an hour ago.

About an hour and a half ago, yep. Sorry you're feeling it, too.

I didn't know we had weather changes coming in tonight but it explains my sinus pressure. Sorry you got hit so hard :-(

I was hit by a migraine this afternoon. Something is definitely up, but I'm not sure if it is the weather. Mine hit after I was outdoors; there was a nasty smell on the wind, although I don't know if that caused it or not.

The phenomenon of weather/baro-pressure-related aches and pains has fascinated me all my life. My sister has a weather-predictive scar or two, and my head is always giving me stative-descriptive weather updates with subtle headache media. I started writing down what I felt, when, the weather at the time, and soon after. Living in Seattle, I've discovered my very worst headaches occur on the Random Sunny Day that everybody ELSE hopes desperately for throughout most of the year. Me, my sinuses, and my migraines are perfectly content with overcast and slightly drizzly. Sorry y'all felt so terrible, and I hope you're feeling better now!

I'm feeling a little better yes! Although the low-level vertigo plagued me off and on all week.
