The joys of urban wildlife

mckitterick and I are having Happy Fun Times with our Schendel guy who is here helping us get a squirrel (or, possibly, a bat or bird) out of our chimney.
Jim (our Schendel guy) is equally amused and irritated that we are opposed to killing the animal as anything but a last resort. It would make his job a lot easier, I think, if he could just gas it or something.
"I don't know what to tell you."
Hm. Not what we want to hear.
