New Tumblr collection: The Color Orange, April 30.

I have the Watson coat in the office today. msmitti will be by this afternoon to try it on. It's lacking only sleeves, buttons, and pockets. I found some stretch twill in my stash and used it instead of making another test garment. If the coat fits, we can use this one for the final version and I'll return the denim to Hancock's. Sweet baby jeebus let it fit.

Yes, please! I'll trade you the pics I took of each speaker, and I also climbed up the steps on the side to get a couple of pics of the crowd!
I'm going to download them from the camera tonight and get them re-sized (all this fun new stuff to learn!), then post some to FB and some to LJ.

!Barbara Ballard! She was standing next to me (sheer luck!), and after a few seconds of of "should I/shouldn't I" I opted for SHOULD and asked "May I please get a photo with you?" She was very gracious.

TBH, I'm surprised not more people were asking for pics with her. *shrug*

edit: and yes, her arm is TOTALLY AROUND MY WAIST IN THAT PHOTO. <3 <3 <3
