Me, me, me

A personal goal for me: Bhujangasana, the full completed pose shown in the second photo. I used to be able to do this, so I know it's possible for me. Just a small goal to reach before I dance at RenFest this fall. I would love to do this with a sword balanced on my chin. Talk about a killer photo op. I have a photo of me in this pose, only with my upstage arm reaching towards the sky (and no sword) and it's very cool. So. New goal.

This says something about me: We had the house cleaned on Tuesday (thank maude that 0verdrive's mom manages a housecleaning company or I'd be sunk). When I went to bed last night I realized that Sunday night, after giving it a good cleaning (ahem) I had left my vibrator out to dry overnight. And still hadn't put it away. Oops. It was nice to realize that my initial response however, was not embarassment, but just "eh" followed by a mental note to put it away in the morning.

And finally, a general rant: Stupid and/or selfish people really annoy me. There is a secretary in this building (not in English) who won a Classified Employee of the Month award this last year. But she did not win the Employee of the Year (announced yesterday). I found out this morning that she spent the whole day yesterday crying (literally) about how she was a loser and poor pitiful her and maybe begin nasty tone here if she was Black (like the woman who won) she might have had a chance. My god, what is wrong with people? That's just sick. What is this? 7th grade class president elections? Cripes. I saw her this morning (Pitiful Woman, not Winner Woman, who really is very nice) and I wanted to call out "Good morning, loser!" But I didn't.

Oh yeah, news note: They finally sheared that sheep. Poor sheep. I bet he feels a lot better now. Nearly 60 pounds of wool on him! Crazy.
