Not an auspicious start to the vacation

It's a good thing I had a pleasant henna day yesterday, because otherwise, my vacation would have a pretty disappointing kick-off. The Belly Dance United show I attended last night was horrible. Not even laughable (well, some parts were laughable), but most of it was so bad it made me cringe, and one piece in particular was so offensive it made me feel literally (and I am using that literally) nauseated. I'll write more about that later when I feel more coherent, because I'm working on about five and a half hours of sleep (another bummer). And to top things, off, I woke up this morning with an outrageously swollen belly. It's bad enough that I took a photo for my medical file. Waist is 33" (a new high!) and at my navel, I'm 39" (just an inch smaller than my usual hip measurement).

So that's how I'm starting my morning: So swollen I can't even button my old, roomy camouflage shorts, and short about three hours of sleep.

Stellar.

I'm starting your no-starchy-things-with-fat thing today. I don't have a lot to modify, but I will stop having my cod liver oil with my 1 oz. of OJ (my means for taking BioSil) in the morning. Cod liver oil with dinner, now, and the OJ at least an hour before breakfast and right before bed.

Also, no more sweet potato fries, even as a treat, for a few months.
