There's a new yoga studio in Lawrence. One of the instructors was trained by <3Gopi<3, but she only teaches the kids class. They have several weekend classes, and at least two classes (Heart Flow and Sacred Yin Flow) are geared toward low-level/restorative yoga. This Sunday is already spoken for, but I'm going to drop in on at least one of the Sunday classes next weekend. The two classes I'm most interested in meet back-to-back on Sundays, so I might sit in on them both to figure out which one I like better.

Energy levels = Not Great. I'm not sure if the period is taking a lot out of me, or if the getting up an hour early to do yoga is causing me to get not enough sleep. Starting tonight, I'm going to bed no later than 9:30. I'm aiming for 9:15 so I can be asleep by 9:30. I don't like feeling draggy and slow.

Also, being so tired makes me feel hungry all the time, and that's annoying.

I can't wait to go to bed tonight after acupuncture.

Oh thank you, I just picked up a flyer on them from Ad Astra Acu. I think it's for one free class, or maybe that's for another yoga studio?

I have one for classes at 1423 NY by an Ana Young, sliding scale 5-10,
and a card for Westside Yoga, neither of them say anything about free. Hm.
But.. they are on a bulletin board in the entryway to Ad Astra Acupuncture, which is where the old Hideaway Lounge used to be, if you want to check.

Fighting with my uterus always makes me tired. Hopefully more sleep will fix the draggy feeling though.

I've wanted to start doing yoga for a long time. I think I will put that on this year's goals page and check them out.

I am interested in this new yoga studio. I would love to attend restorative classes. I can't really stand on my head thanks to my neck, and that really puts the breaks on Iyengar practice beyond the very introductory level.
