Why yes, I am pretty awesome, thank you for noticing
This gif is making me feel a little better. A little.

WERK IT.
After acupuncture and a night's sleep, my knee isn't worse, so I'm considering that a win. Here's the more detailed story of what went down (literally).
Yesterday morning, during my second set of weighted side-step lunges, I stepped on something slick on our ceramic tile floor and my right foot slid out from under me. I am very, very proud of the fact that I never, at any point, actually fell. I managed to control my (admittedly rapid) descent so neither the metal dumbbell nor any part of my body hit the ground with force. A complete lack of bruising this morning proved this. So basically, I did an unplanned side splits and wrenched one knee, but never fell down and went boom. GO LEG STRENGTH AND FLEXIBILITY!

Let's hope I don't lose too much of that in the time I'm recuperating from my non-fall.
In the meantime, I can put weight on the leg, and I can bend the knee, but I can't put weight on it while I'm bending it. Nor can I let it shift even slightly from side to side. If either of those things happen, ouch. Major ouch. So I'm thinking it's just a really bad sprain, and I should be good to go this time next week. Right? Right?
