Back's at it
A few months ago something in my right hip went screwy. The pain is focused in the gluteus medias right over the spot where the back of my hip bone starts to curve down into the spine. I've seen the chiropractor twice and I've been rolling it out regularly, but nothing is helping. It's getting worse. Today I used the sacrowedgy on it and okay yeah it's something in my sacroiliac joint. Hoo boy.
I'm sort of hobbling around gently today and what a pain in the ass that is. I had Great Plans for today, damn it.
Spending part of a four-day-weekend having to be all careful about how I move my body and not doing anything too strenuous is a total fucking drag.

Oh bugger, hun, I'm so sorry. I so wish Dr. Koehn was still around, he was fabulous at that area when mine would tweak. The only other one that fixed it (and I haven't had to go back again) is Andy Chang.
Of course, he doesn't take insurance.

Well WHO DOES these days? Seriously. Seems like any health practitioner worth their time has nothing to do with insurance. Not that I blame them...

Isn't that the truth!.. or any that do anything slightly off from standard allopathic treatments.
So how's the back/hip today?

Do you do yoga? My troupe mate has trouble with her SI joint and uses yoga to manage the issue, she wrote up some blog entries about it:

Update: Wow, the stuff she talked about on her blog resonated with me. I tried one of the programs this morning and already I feel better. AMAZING! I'll be incorporating this into my daily routine. Thank you so so so much!
Yay!
