Accentuate the Not Entirely Dismal

pennswoods tagged me for the Positivity Meme which didn't actually make me laugh out loud but did make me snort.

During the next five days, post three positive things about your day and ask three people to do the same so the positive attitude can gain some ground.

This is not easy today. I already cried once today before 8am (tears and everything) and it's entirely likely I'll do so again when I get home. Because I woke up this morning, showered, got dressed...and noticed when I couldn't fasten my skirt that I was really swollen. I turned to look at myself in the mirror and my belly was pushing out as far as I've ever seen it. I could rest my hands on the top ridge under my breasts as if I was pregnant. That was before eating anything. Completely empty stomach. I got a photo, but apparently don't have an SD card reader at the office like I thought I did.

So let's see if I can scrounge up three things to be positive about.

1. I'm not dead.

2. mckitterick is not dead.

3. Both of us are gainfully employed.

That's all I've got for positivity today.

I tag hdsqrl, 1_rhiannon_1, and seascribe, but trust me, I won't be hurt if you don't take me up on it. I completely understand not being up to this right now!

I love this because it's so much like my own brand of positivity. "Not dead yet--whoopee." I feel bad about it, but it's just how I am some days. If I can figure out how to change it, I will, but no luck so far. Meanwhile, I appreciate not being the only one. ; )
