Nailed to the cross of lust

I want a print of the fourth piece of art in this Toast essay.

Maggie Stiefvater posted a really great techno/electronica playlist on Tumblr.

My left hip is still bugging me and I think it's two things. One, I might have been overstretching and...sprained it a little? Oops. I've been babying it during my PT exercises (which omg you guys so exhausting) and it's feeling a little better already. Two, though. Ugh. Two, I think it's the extra weight I've put on in the past couple months. I had a hard time returning to structured eating after 221B Con, which I mentioned at the time, but I still am snacking way too much (like, at all) and so much dried fruit and nuts. I know my joints hurt more and regularly when I creep over 165lbs. I haven't weighed myself in ages, but I bet I'm up around there, if not over. [livejournal.com profile] mckitterick's also unhappy with the bit of belly he's acquired recently, so the two of us made a pact for a full calendar year--until Memorial Day 2016--to be the most physically-conscious versions of ourselves and see how fit and healthy we can possibly get in 365 days.

As always, if doing stuff like this with other people helps inspire you or keep you on track, feel free to join us!

Brian and I are with you! I know I've fallen off our intentional movement pact and I am vowing to get back on. Brian is getting a belly too and since that's his only source of fat really, it makes me nervous. No heart attacks, please!

I lost that weight from the Whole30 but I've not lost more. I need to get my ass into shape and that is my main concern, not the number on the scale.

Yay!

I've had to put the intentional movement stuff on hiatus for a while because my PT exercises (which I'm supposed to do everyday) are surprisingly exhausting and now with the two new movements that got added last visit, they take about twenty minutes to do. BLAH.

Starting Sunday, when [livejournal.com profile] mckitterick is busy with the writing workshops and such, I'll have nearly every evening to myself and I can just do leftovers or tuna salad or something for dinner and have lots of time leftover for yoga. That'll be good.

Oh yeah, you are totally off the hook; you've got enough going on with the PT. I don't have any good reason not to stick to it; I'm just being purely lazy. I am bone tired, but lazy. Bottom line.

Brian and I need to figure out a plan for eating/movement. He likes to do everything together, whereas I am like give me spaaaaace. So I am a smidge envious of your upcoming alone time in the evenings.

I love my evenings in June alone, NGL. I usually wind up overbooking myself, though.
