So we've got that hair (sorry, I know some of you like it--that's fine, LIFE'S RICH TAPESTRY), the hoodie (there is no excuse), the hilariously awkward body movement while singing (undeniable) and I finally (I hate to sound Like That Person but) those table manners. That combo should be an absolute deal-breaking boner-killer but NOPE.

Still want him to fucking pound me into the floor.

...what does it say about me that my first reaction was see, he's a baritone when given the chance to be! He knows where his natural singing range is, look at the capo on the guitar! let him sing down there more!

We definitely agree on that. :D Although I also want to see *him* pounded into the floor, so maybe that's the difference. ;)


Anyway... I came back to squee some more over that video. He is so awkward, and I feel he used to be able to hold a tune slightly better than that sometimes, but damn. Every time he smiles.... . That host had it right! :D

I wonder if he was fumbling the notes bc he was accompanying himself...or he's just not singing with full voice bc he's still practicing. Since he's not primarily a singer, I think it's likely he hasn't had training to support that soft chest voice delivery.

It's interesting, though, whether we see him as someone to take charge - or someone to be taken charge of. All that awkwardness just makes me feel like he could do with being taken in hand. (And talking of the awkwardness, yes, I'd be very happy to rewatch the video if you're able and willing to share it!)
