And this is why Sharon Stone shouldn't open her mouth without a script

"I'm not happy about the way the Chinese are treating the Tibetans because I don't think anyone should be unkind to anyone else," Stone said Thursday during a Cannes Film Festival red-carpet interview with Hong Kong's Cable Entertainment News. "And then this earthquake and all this stuff happened, and then I thought, is that karma? When you're not nice that the bad things happen to you?"

The really irritating thing is, many of those those who cried foul over the dumbfucks people who said similar things about New York and New Orleans in the wake of 9/11 and Katrina would probably nod their heads sagely in agreement. Heck the people who said those things would probably agree with her, except, of course, they're working from opposite ends of the stupid spectrum.

Also: That is not how karma works, bitches.

Idiot.

Humanity has teh dumb.

Yes, karma is when you're not nice and bad things happen to you. It's why all the bad people in the world die young.

I thought that was dogma?

Aye.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt.

I just know I'm going to end up quoting this in casual speech at some point.

She is a moron.

I enjoy her as an actress and I think she is a great beauty, but as you say, without a screenplay, she should REALLY keep her yap firmly shut.

Let's see -- by her arithmatic, we could legitimately ponder why she got a, uh, (*googles*) subarachnoid hemorrhage. Maybe she was unkind to someone. Clearly, she learned her lesson, and it set her right. :/
