Dientes

I got my bi-annual tooth cleaning this morning. Shiny happy teeth, yay! I was due for x-rays, boo.

6-12

Careful eating combined with a diuretic pill and enough water to drown an army has me down three pounds. Excellent.

Over Memorial Day weekend, I hurt my left foot (no idea how). It was almost too painful to walk for a day or two, but has been getting better. I noticed it hurt less when I wore a moderate heeled shoe (two to three inches), but yesterday was the first day I tried walking to work in a pair of heels. I bought these from Browns Shoe Fit downtown last week and I figured this was as good a chance as any to see if they were a good purchase. Up and down the hill to work and back with no problem! My legs were a little sore from being in heels all day (haven't done that in a while), but my feet felt great. The shoes are a little conservative in their style (I really wanted these instead), but practicality and a limited pocketbook won out. Sigh. This is what getting older is about, isn't it? Buying sturdy, practical shoes out of necessity and budget because your feet hurt. Ppthpthphhththt.

Uh. You are gonna cry. The cute ones are now a dollar les than the conservative ones.

I doubt Brown's Shoe Fit is selling them for that price, though. =(

I've had pretty good luck with buying shoes online.

So have I, and in the past I've been quite pleased with Zappo's customer service. But I've resolved to buy things locally, unless I absolutely cannot find it or a comparable item except online.
