It is still snowing
I came to work today because of a Big Grad School informational Meeting at 10:30. I'm here, even though I was awakened by cramps at 3:00, 4:30, and 6:40 a.m. Good times. I trudged up in the snow (feeling bad for ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

We got this email at 8:24 this morning: "Due to poor road conditions and to encourage safety, supervisors are advised to be tolerant of late staff arrivals and faculty are advised to tolerant of late student arrivals to class."

George Foreman was not a go last night. Bummed about that. I spent the evening with hard liquor and a heating pad. I got to read a good book, though. This Is Not a Game. I plowed through it in under four hours. I'm not sure it's SF, but it was a fantastic thriller/adventure.

Yeah... still...snowing... I even slid turning a corner in 4WD in the Jeep of Awesomeness. Will be going out again later to get a big girl hair cut... bangs and all...so that's motivating. ...and then to pick up the lad. Yep. Glad for the jeep...wouldn't bother otherwise. So glad you didn't get hit on that hill of doom.
