FUCKING BOOMING! I saw the original write-up of this and it made me so fucking mad. I hope BP gets what's coming to them, and I hope they get it sooner rather than later. It's almost incomprehensible the level of incompetence they've sunk to. >:[
I'm pretty ignorant about this sort of thing and I'm mad. I can't imagine how frustrating it must be for people who are educated in this area and are forced to watch week after week of idiocy and incompetence.
I can only imagine how they're gnashing their teeth and tearing their hair out. Hell, I'm almost tearing my hair out and I'm just as ignorant about it as you are. Part of what boggles me though is that there hasn't been a media outcry about this particular BP fail. It's open season on BP, isn't it? The media loves a good scandal, doesn't it? Even if they can't find a booming expert to speak against BP, I'm sure the teensiest modicum of investigative journalism could easily confirm all the statements made about proper fucking booming. So why hasn't the media started dragging BP across the coals for this one? It's not too late to get some proper fucking booming in place on some of the coastline where the oil hasn't hit yet!
If I ever get my hands on a BP exec I'm going to throttle them until their eyes fall out.
