First off, something especially for mckitterick. Alas, this could be the last vintage ad I see for a while. I had to un-join the community this morning. They've got this new thing where every Monday they post movie trailers (WTF?) and it added about six screens to my f-page reading. I don't deal well with tedium and that was just too tedious for me to bother with. Even just once a week. Yes, I am that impatient and lazy.

KCRF Media Party was a wash-out. It rained like crazy, and management closed everything down at 7:30. Thirty minutes before I could have gotten a turkey leg for my efforts. Fuckers. It was my first performance as Azucena without the wig, and I doubt anyone but other Brothel members noticed. Excellent. I tried a Brigitte Bardot-esque half-updo that worked well, although I want a bit more oomph. This might be the final encouragement I need to purchase a Bump-it. Yes!

Tonight is my first appointment in the Rolfing 10-Series with Risa at Kinetikos. My wonderful acupuncturist Kiva suggested I pursue this course of treatment for some worsening shoulder issues that haven't resolved with two acupuncture treatments. I wonder if the treatments might also help my longtime hip joint issues. Here's hoping!

Tonight is also the last night of Gopi's yoga class for three weeks. Ugh. Bitch feels she deserves to go to some sort of stupid yoga conference and then a vacation. Back to back. Whatever.

And now I have to go to a training session for new applications processing techniques. Good times!

Update: New applications processing techniques are made of awesome. We're moving towards 100% electronic applications. Saving paper, saving time, and saving applicants' money. Score! I'm very pleased about the changes to our applications and admissions system.

All changes are effective for the upcoming application season. Which, for us, means Fall 2011 since English doesn't admit for Spring.

I use "swell" to mean "great" once in a while, but I think the addition of "golly" might put it over the top. =)

The first movie post has numerous comments mirroring your (and my) concerns. I suggested they start a different community for "vintage" movie trailers. I will, at minimum, remove the community from my default view if they don't put an end to it.
